The atmosphere was electric as TechAlpha Hub continued its school tour with a visit to Etinan Community Comprehensive Secondary School. Our mission to inspire and educate young minds about the transformative power of technology took another exciting leap forward, leaving students and teachers energized and enthusiastic. TechAlpha: A Day of Tech Exploration Students of Etinan Community Comprehensive Secondary School eagerly gathered in the assembly hall, their anticipation and curiosity palpable. Ambassador Treasure Idem, a charismatic and knowledgeable tech educator, was on hand to ignite their passion for technology. Ambassador Idem kicked off the session with a captivating talk on the benefits of acquiring tech skills. He shared stories of tech innovators and entrepreneurs who have changed the world, highlighting how technology can open doors to numerous opportunities. The students listened with rapt attention, their imaginations sparked by the possibilities that tech skills could bring to their futures. TechAlpha: Hands-On Tech Demonstrations To make the experience truly immersive, Ambassador Idem conducted live demonstrations of coding, web design, and copywriting. He showed the students how coding can create dynamic websites, how web design transforms ideas into stunning online platforms, and how copywriting conveys powerful messages. The interactive session turned the assembly hall into a hive of activity. Students eagerly tried their hands at basic coding tasks, experimented with design elements, and crafted compelling copy. The hands-on demonstrations allowed them to see firsthand the magic of technology, transforming abstract concepts into tangible skills. Highlight of the Day: Scholarship Awards The highlight of the visit was the scholarship awards, designed to recognize and nurture outstanding talent. Ambassador Idem posed a series of questions to the students, testing their understanding of the concepts discussed. Among the enthusiastic participants, three students stood out with their impressive answers: Abasiodu, Uwem, and Michael. These bright young minds were awarded scholarships by TechAlpha Hub to be trained in web development, web design with WordPress, and copywriting. The scholarships will provide them with the tools and support they need to further their skills and pursue promising futures in technology. The assembly hall erupted in applause, celebrating the achievements of these talented students. TechAlpha: A Vision for the Future Ambassador Idem concluded the session by encouraging all students to consider registering for the upcoming Tech Bootcamp, scheduled for the August long vacation. He explained that the bootcamp would offer an intensive exploration of various tech disciplines, equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the digital age. Principal’s Appreciation Mrs. Alice, the principal of Etinan Community Comprehensive Secondary School, expressed her gratitude for the initiative. She acknowledged the positive impact of the session and emphasized the importance of technology education in preparing students for the future. Her words reinforced our commitment to making technology accessible to all students, regardless of their background or location.
