The energy was infectious as TechAlpha Hub continued its school tour with a visit to Big Bassey Legacy School. Our goal to inspire and educate young minds about the vast opportunities in technology took a giant step forward, leaving students and teachers buzzing with excitement. TechAlpha: A Day of Tech Discovery The students of Big Bassey Legacy School gathered eagerly in their assembly hall, their anticipation and curiosity evident. Ambassador Treasure Idem, a passionate and knowledgeable tech educator, was ready to inspire the next generation of tech enthusiasts. Ambassador Idem began with an engaging talk on the myriad benefits of acquiring tech skills. He shared captivating stories of tech innovators and entrepreneurs who have transformed the world, emphasizing how technology can unlock countless opportunities. The students listened attentively, their imaginations sparked by the potential that tech skills could bring to their futures. TechAlpha: Interactive Tech Demonstrations To make the learning experience truly immersive, Ambassador Idem conducted live demonstrations of coding, web design, and copywriting. He showcased how coding can bring websites to life, how web design can turn ideas into visually stunning online platforms, and how effective copywriting can communicate powerful messages. The interactive session turned the assembly hall into a vibrant space of creativity and learning. Among the enthusiastic participants, one student stood out with his impressive answers: David Divine. David Divine was awarded a scholarship by TechAlpha Hub to be trained in web development, web design with WordPress, and copywriting. This scholarship will provide him with the tools and support he needs to further his skills and pursue a promising future in technology. The assembly hall erupted in applause, celebrating David’s achievement and potential. TechAlpha: A Vision for the Future Ambassador Idem concluded the session by encouraging all students to consider registering for the upcoming Tech Bootcamp, scheduled for the August long vacation. He explained that the bootcamp would offer an intensive exploration of various tech disciplines, equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the digital age. Our mission to introduce young minds to the wonders of technology took another significant step forward, leaving an indelible mark on students and teachers alike. A Day Filled with Tech Wonders The students of St. Theresa Secondary School eagerly gathered in the assembly hall, their curiosity and anticipation filling the air. Ambassador Treasure Idem, a dynamic and passionate tech educator, took the stage with a mission: to spark a love for technology among these young minds. Ambassador Idem began with an engaging talk on the immense benefits of acquiring tech skills. He shared inspiring stories of tech innovators from around the world, highlighting how technology has transformed lives and created countless opportunities. In recognition of his remarkable understanding and potential, they were awarded a scholarship by TechAlpha Hub. This scholarship will provide Them with comprehensive training in web development, web design with WordPress, and copywriting. The applause that followed was thunderous, echoing the support and pride of his peers. TechAlpha: Inspiring the Next Generation Amb Idem concluded the session by encouraging all students to consider registering for the upcoming Tech Bootcamp, scheduled for the August-long vacation. At TechAlpha Hub, we believe in the transformative power of technology education to shape the future of our youth. Our mission to bridge the technological divide has led us to the heart of secondary schools in Akwa Ibom State, where we aim to ignite a passion for tech skills among young minds. The journey of our school tour began at Community Comprehensive Secondary Ikot Eba in Etinan Local Government, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, and it has been nothing short of amazing. A Day of Learning and Inspiration The first school visit set the tone for our mission, as Ambassador Treasure Idem took the stage to educate the young adults on the benefits of acquiring technology skills. His lecture covered various aspects of tech education, including coding, web design, and copywriting. With enthusiasm and expertise, Ambassador Idem demonstrated practical examples of these skills, captivating the students and showing them the potential that lies within the world of technology. Ambassador Idem’s session was not just a lecture but an interactive experience. He encouraged students to ask questions and engage with the material, fostering a dynamic learning environment. This approach not only made the session more engaging but also helped the students see the real-world applications of the tech skills being taught. Highlight of the Day: Scholarship Award One of the most memorable moments of the day was when Master Essien Ubong, the senior prefect of the school, answered a question by defining what coding is. His impressive response earned him a scholarship, awarded by TechAlpha Hub, to be trained in web development, web design with WordPress, and copywriting. This scholarship aims to provide Master Ubong with the resources and support he needs to further develop his skills and pursue a future in technology. Gratitude and Promises of Partnership The vice principal of academics at Community Comprehensive Secondary Ikot Eba, Mr. Orok, expressed his gratitude for the initiative. He acknowledged the significant impact that technology education can have on the students and promised to partner with TechAlpha Foundation to create lasting change. Mr. Orok’s commitment to collaborating with us reinforces our belief that together, we can build a tech-savvy generation ready to face the challenges of the future. TechAlpha: Encouraging Future Tech Enthusiasts Throughout the day, students were not only inspired but also encouraged to take concrete steps towards their tech education. Ambassador Idem highlighted the upcoming Tech Bootcamp, scheduled for the August long vacation. He urged students to register for this intensive program, where they will receive hands-on training in various tech disciplines. The bootcamp is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in tech skills, preparing them for future careers in the industry.
