Tech-a-school : TechAlpha Hub’s Empowerment Visit to Regina Rex High School

The enthusiasm was undeniable as TechAlpha Hub continued its school tour with a visit to Regina Rex Secondary School. Our mission to inspire and educate young minds about the endless possibilities in technology made another significant impact, filling students and teachers with excitement and inspiration.

A Day of Tech Enlightenment

The students of Regina Rex Secondary School gathered eagerly in their assembly hall, their anticipation and curiosity clearly visible. Ambassador Treasure Idem, a dynamic and knowledgeable tech educator, was ready to ignite their passion for technology.

Ambassador Idem began with an engaging talk on the immense benefits of acquiring tech skills. He shared captivating stories of tech innovators and entrepreneurs who have revolutionized the world, emphasizing how technology can unlock countless opportunities. The students listened intently, their imaginations sparked by the potential that tech skills could bring to their futures.

Hands-On Tech Demonstrations

To make the learning experience truly immersive, Ambassador Idem conducted live demonstrations of coding, web design, and copywriting. He showcased how coding can bring websites to life, how web design can transform ideas into visually stunning online platforms, and how effective copywriting can communicate powerful messages.

The interactive session turned the assembly hall into a vibrant space of creativity and learning. Students eagerly participated in basic coding tasks, experimented with design elements, and crafted compelling copy. The hands-on demonstrations allowed them to see firsthand the magic of technology, transforming abstract concepts into tangible skills.

Highlight of the Day: Scholarship Awards

The highlight of the visit was the scholarship awards, designed to recognize and nurture outstanding talent. Ambassador Idem posed a series of questions to the students, testing their understanding of the concepts discussed. Among the enthusiastic participants, three students stood out with their impressive answers: Joshua Udeme, Anthonia Ekom, and Prince Asuquo.

These bright young minds were awarded scholarships by TechAlpha Hub to be trained in web development, web design with WordPress, and copywriting. The scholarships will provide them with the tools and support they need to further their skills and pursue promising futures in technology. The assembly hall erupted in applause, celebrating the achievements of Joshua, Anthonia, and Prince.

TechAlpha: A Vision for the Future

Ambassador Idem concluded the session by encouraging all students to consider registering for the upcoming Tech Bootcamp, scheduled for the August long vacation. He explained that the bootcamp would offer an intensive exploration of various tech disciplines, equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the digital age.
